Christa founded and served as Executive Director of Free Soil Arts Collective, the first Black-led arts organization in Massachusetts' Merrimack Valley, dedicated to amplifying the voices and work of artists of color. Under her leadership, the organization grew from a $12,300 crowdfunding campaign to an annual budget of $350,000 within three years and expanded artist participation from five to 75 artists over three years. She led the planning and execution of more than 34 programs and events, cultivated partnerships with more than 30 community organizations, and oversaw the organization's fundraising, communications, and strategic planning efforts. Christa also previously worked at Entrepreneurship for All, United Way, and Girls Inc.

Christa adds capacity to projects by bringing in additional subcontractors, freelancers, and specialized expertise as required to meet the unique needs of each project.
